I started building this blog over 7 years ago. At the time the plan was to document my travels that were in the works.
Unfortunately…or fortunately…life had a different plan.
Truly, what this blog was about at it’s conception is what it still is. Moving forward. Forward just looks very different.
Today flying forward looks a lot like flying back. I am 38 years old. I have found the love of my life and he doesn’t look anything like what I thought he would. I have 2 teenage girls, and our relationship doesn’t look anything like I thought it would. AND….I am pregnant with my third child.
What hasn’t changed is my love of planning, travel, family, research, and writing.
So, here I am, 38, mother of 2 teenage girls, pregnant (geriatric, apparently), madly in love (more, still, everyday) with a massive nerd, and engaged to be married for the third time.
I am flying forward, toward a different, more beautiful, future then I ever could have imagined.
I don’t have any plans for what this blog will look like, or how it will take shape. But, if you decide to join me on the journey, WELCOME! Let’s fly.
